We left the dogs snoozing for a little while and went for a wee drive. I took pictures out of the window, so they aren’t great but they are kind of nice in a slightly blurry, badly composed sort of way.
You can see the snow coming in while we were driving, it got all dark and loomy. And then fat snowflakes were everywhere!
If you squint you can see some guys coming in on a boat. They were probably hunting.
Snow and houses and stuff.
Salt box museum. Its closed! Looks a bit frosty inside.
I always really love this white and green salt box whenever we drive by, with its rickety fence. It has character. Or like it would be a character, in a Pixar movie about houses or someshit.
Fire wood teepees!
Church bell. So pretty.
A slopey stage and a cool boat in the background.
I really like this old brown shed. I would laquer it and keep it just as it is.
Dark little bay.
Cruising out to the part of the island we rarely go to, listening to podcasts like a couple of tough gangsters.
Lobster traps and dirty snow clumps.
I love this stage, with its antler and saw collection.
And driving back home for a nice grown up lunch of chicken fingers and plum sauce. And to rough up the dogs. They are so lazy! And then maybe a nap… definitely a nap.
