Uhhh so I wrote this blog WEEKS AGO. Like, 3 weeks ago. Before Marie went to Ontario to visit CB’s parents, she cooked up a bunch of fish cakes and fried up some crispy caplin and even got a few lobsters in. Cooked in sea water, they were salty sweet & delicious.
Then we had like.. all of the leftovers… So CB got creative and made us an epic lunch.
Here we have some hash made of the pulled caplin meat. White bread, lobster meat cooked up in butter, potato salad with peas, mustard pickles, lobster liver, and salt fish cakes.
Can you taste that through the screen? Amazing.
Then we boiled up the leftover lobster bods and made a lovely lobster stock. One cold evening we will made a lobster risotto with it.
Our fox friends got the leftovers of our leftovers.
Anyway not much of a blog but it seemed a shame not to show off such a fine lunch spread.
